The funeral for Cleora Clara Bierig, 82, of Okeene will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Okeene. The Rev. Monte and Leslie Michaelson will officiate. Burial will be in Bierig Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Okeene. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, 2-6 p.m. Sunday, and 9-11 a.m. Monday.

She was born July 1, 1925, to Ezra and Clara Geis Greb southeast of Okeene and died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Summit Living Center, Okeene.

She attended Henson country school and Okeene High School. She married Harvey L. Bierig Aug. 16, 1942, in Okeene. She was a member of the First Christian Church, and Christian Women’s Fellowship.

Surviving are her husband, Harvey of Okeene; one son, Jerry Bierig of Okeene; one daughter, Cheryl Coons of Blackwell; three sisters, Betty Unruh, Mae Reames and Beverly Kopf; two brothers, Milton Greb and Verlin Greb; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one infant brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Christian Church.

Funeral for Harvey Bierig, 90, of Okeene, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at First Christian Church, Okeene. Burial in Bierig Cemetery. Arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Okeene. Contact the funeral home for visitation times.

Harvey was born Oct. 23, 1920, northeast of Okeene to Henry and Katie Haffner Bierig and died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Okeene Hospital.

Surviving are brother, Henry Bierig Jr. of Isabella; children, Jerry Bierig and Nancy Scott of Keys and Duncan and Cheryl Bierig Coons of Blackwell; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by wife, Cleora, and three brothers.
