The graveside service for Richard Leon Moore, 56, of Fairview, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, in Bethel Cemetery, Fairview. The Rev. Wesley Peterman will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc., Fairview.

He was born Dec. 18, 1951, in Fairview to Melvin and Leoma Thornbrugh Moore and died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in Dallas as a result of an automobile accident.

He attended Fairview schools through the 10th grade and graduated from Mountain View High School. Following graduation he worked in carpentry, yard maintenance and the oil fields. He moved to Dallas where he lived until his death. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are three brothers, Delbert Moore of Longdale, Virgil Moore of Canton, Texas, and Gail Moore of Ardmore, and one sister, Melva Case of Enid.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Memorials made be made through the funeral home to the charity of donor's choice.
