January 21, 1929 - January 19, 2019

Funeral services for Leland Vance Dow, 89, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Elm Grove Community Church. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the family there between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

He was born January 21, 1929 on the farm near Dane, OK. to Enos and Georgia Dow, and died Friday, January 18, 2019 at Fairview Regional Medical Center, Fairview, OK.

He married Norma Faye Pharis Sept. 29, 1947 in Enid. They had one son and four daughters.

Surviving are three daughters, Sherry White and husband David of Moore, OK., Jan Voth and husband Dennis of Longdale, OK., and Jerri Baker and husband Keith of Cleo Springs, OK.; one son, Steve Dow and wife Yvonne of Tallahassee, FL.; one brother, Porter Dow and wife Alresa of Ft Worth, Texas; two sisters- in-law, Rachel Dow of Fairview, OK., and Joyce Couch of Hayesville, KS.; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Faye, one daughter, Sue Graham, his parents, Enos and Georgia Dow, one brother, Warden Dow, two sisters, Mary Gosney and Georgetta Levings, and two great-grandsons, Levi Caiden Lively and Tanner White.

Memorials may be made to the Home of Hope Orphanage in Baudahn, Bangledesh, with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund or online at HopeGeneration.com.
