Ames Cemetery


Edward (Pat) Fisher, 55, passed away in his home in Glendale, AZ October 30, 2007. He was raised in Ames, OK by his mother and father, Kenneth and Lucy Fisher.

He attended Ames grade school and high school where he was valedictorian. He went to Oklahoma State Uni-versity on scholarship and re-ceived a degree in chemistry and biology.

He married Rhonda Cope and had two sons, Michael and John. He worked in the car business in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and finally Arizona where he helped bring the Earnhardt Dodge dealership to its number one in the world status for nine years in a row. Although he worked long hours he was able to take his two sons hunting, and shooting and coach his oldest son’s hockey team several seasons. He was a big man with a big heart and will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the Fisher Ranch west of Ames, OK, weather permitting. If it rains or snows the memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Ames Civic Center. There will be a visitation of the family from 3-5 p.m. at the Ames Civic Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ames Fire Department or the Ames Civic Center.
