Graveside services for Maud E. Wilson, 97, of Marietta, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 28, in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, with Bro. Weldon Flanagan officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born February 18, 1903, at Plano, Texas, the daughter of John David and Bertha Ann Southwood Teeter. She died Saturday, August 26, 2000, at Lake Country Manor Nursing Home in Marietta.

She had lived most of her life in Love County. She married Emmet A. Wilson who preceded her in death September 30, 1979. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ for 79 years.

Survivors include one sister, Ruby Teeter Flanagan of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.
