Services for Theda G. Lowe, 77, of Ardmore, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 31, at Trinity Baptist Church, Ardmore, with the Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating.
Mrs. Lowe was born January 19, 1927, at Courtney, the daughter of Willie and Eva Williams Linville. She died January 28, 2004, at her residence in Ardmore.
She had been a resident of Ardmore since 1951. Mrs. Lowe was a graduate of Courtney High School. She and George Lowe Jr. were married July 21, 1945, in Marietta. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1949.
Survivors include her husband, George Lowe Jr. of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Von Dean Lowe of Oklahoma City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and John Beene of Ardmore and Deanna and Bobby Lindsey of Duncan; six grandchildren, Brad Lowe, Kendall Lowe, Jamey Lindsey, Corey Lemons, Lenzi McBride and Brian Beene; five great-grandchildren, Chandler Lemons, Gavin Lindsey, Skyler Lowe, and Alyssa and Dylan Keith; a brother, Ray Linville of Duncan; and three sisters, Joy Gillaspy of Ardmore, Patsy Rambo of Anaheim, California and Wilma Rambo of Calera.
Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Betty Jo Pruitt.
Pallbearers were Brad Lowe, Kendall Lowe, Jamey Lindsey, Corey Lemons, Scott McBride and Jerry Ward.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore.
