Graveside services for Pearl Inez Lowe, 88, of Gila Bend, Arizona, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 31, at the Leon Cemetery, Leon, with Bro. Jimmy May officiating.
Mrs. Lowe was born July 11, 1915, at Leon, the daughter of Gabe and Anne Mae Gatlin Stockton. She died Saturday, October 25, 2003, in a Mesa, Arizona hospital.
A homemaker, Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Baptist Church in Gila Bend where she was very involved in church activities. She also assisted with holding local elections. She and Newel Howard "Pete" Lowe were married in August, 1932, at Ringling, and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2001. The couple moved to Eloy, Arizona in 1948 and had been residents of Gila Bend since 1962.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Donna Lowe of Benson, Arizona; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Howard Higgs of Burneyville, Wilma Peterson of Coolidge, Arizona, and Peggy and Bill Dick of Las Vegas, Nevada; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Brintle on March 8, 2001.
Services will be under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
