Services for Kloma Joyce Lane, 63, of Marietta, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 29, at the First Baptist Church in Marietta, with the Rev. Tommy Higle and Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.
Mrs. Lane was born March 19, 1938, in Marietta, the daughter of J.B. and Viola G. Stevens Pratt. She died Friday, October 26, 2001, in Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore.
Mrs. Lane was a lifelong resident of Love County. She and Paul C. Lane were married February 10, 1955, in Marietta. Mrs. Lane was the owner/operator of Joyce's Flower Box in Marietta. She attended Thackerville Public Schools and was the first Thackerville FFA Sweetheart and first Thackerville FFA Rodeo Queen. Mrs. Lane was a member of Marietta's First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Viola Stevens Pratt of Marietta; her husband, Paul C. Lane of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey Charles and Kenni Lane of Madill and Kevin Paul and Heather Lane of Cooper, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ronnie Colston of Marietta; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Gala Pratt and Weldon and Donna Pratt of Gainesville, Texas, Raymond Pratt and Jim Pratt of Marietta, and Arnold and Pat Pratt of Springtown, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Maxie Hice of Marietta; and five grandchildren, Tiffany Colston, Cara Colston, Jedidiah Lane, Micah Lane and Charley Beth Lane.
Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Pratt, on July 25, 1994.
Pallbearers were Jesse Kirk, Rick Stowers, Willis McKay, Bob Colston, Alvin Hilton and Wesley Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Pratt, Jerry Pratt, Terry Pratt, Mickey Pratt, Paul Pratt, Joe Pratt, Larry Hice, Gary McKiddy, Gary Pratt, Randy Pratt, Scott Pratt, Chuck Lane, Ron Lane, Ronald Stevens and Bill Dvorak.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
