Memorial services for Jessie Franklin "Butch" Lambert, 38, of Lebanon, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, in the Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Duck and the Rev. W.S. McMurtrey officiating.
Mr. Lambert was born December 18, 1962, at Ardmore, the son of Billy Joe Sr. and Mary Cranmore Lambert. He died Saturday, August 25, 2001, near Enville.
Mr. Lambert had made his home in Marietta before moving to Lebanon four months ago. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a truck driver at the time of his death. Mr. Lambert was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include his wife, Crissina D. Rossi of the home; his father and stepmother, Billy Joe Sr. and Vicki Lambert of Wilson; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Frank Norwood of Overbrook; his stepmother, Betty Lambert of Marietta; a son, Weston Lambert; three stepsons, Ricky Lynn Self of the Shady Dale community and Jamie Ballard and Ethan Ballard of Marietta; two brothers, Billy J. Lambert Jr. of Marietta and Bobby Spradling of Thackerville; and two sisters, LaDonna Dodd of McCloud and Mary Baker of Healdton.
Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jess and Leota Cranmore, Johnny Lambert and Juanita Beard; two aunts, Delois Powers and Joyce Jones; and two uncles, Kenneth Cranmore and Eddie Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Hill, Roy Willis, Carl Hill, Bobby Craig, Lee Mote, Thomas Hayes, Ron Howard, Don Howard, David Willingham and Ray Willingham.
Arrangements were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
