Viola Ellen Williams, 96, of Amarillo, formerly of Pruitt City, Okla., died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Pruitt City Assembly of God with the Rev. Hurshel Baker and the Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson, Okla., by Alexander-Roberts Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Mrs. Williams was born March 27, 1905, in Marietta, Okla., to the late Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Pearl (Crenshaw) Walker. She married Walter Howard Williams on Sept. 3, 1922, in Post Oak, Okla.
Survivors include five sons, Durward of Pampa, Doug of Amarillo, Royce of Pruitt City, Howard of Pampa and Ralph of Houston; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Pruitt City Assembly of God, Route 1, Box 207, Ratliff City, OK 73481.
