Mr. Hamm surveyed this cemetery in 2003.
BURNEY-GAINES is another abandoned cemetery. It is a half mile east of the present Burneyville cemetery and sits atop a hill just south of the Noble Foundation road. Many of the people who first settled in this area are buried here. The cemetery is located in 1W, 7S, Section 35.
If you have family buried in this cemetery and would like to add their information, an obit, tombstone photo, funeral home record or memorial card to this website please send the area coordinator an email.
