N. J. NEAL DIES AT HOME
Services for Mrs. Nancy Jan Neal, 90, who died in her home eight miles north of town Dec. 25, were held Thursday by the side of her grave in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery southeast of Marshall.
Rev. C.T. Perkins pastor the first Baptist church of Crescent delivered the funeral message and arrangements were made under the direction of Yenzer Brothers Funeral Home.
Bearers were W. L. Taliferro, E. M. Post, Edgar Post, Ed Huls, H. H. Huffer and Sam Travis.
Nancy Jane Beason was born July 1854 and departed this life on Dec. 25 at the age of 90 years 5 months and 16 days.
She was married to George Neal and came with him to Oklahoma in 1889 and settled on the far where she died. Her husband proceeded her in death.
She leaves one sister, Miss Sarah Beason of the home address and several nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
She had been in poor health for a number of years but remained cheerful through her suffering.
