Henry Anton Fuxa
(November 4, 1925 - November 7, 2010)

Henry Anton Fuxa was born November 4, 1925 in Bison, Oklahoma to John and Mary (Musil) Fuxa. He passed away November 7, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.

Henry graduated from Waukomis High School and attended Bison Catholic School. On April 14, 1948 he married Wilma Marie Vaverka in Hennessey. Shortly after they marriage they moved to Marshall, where he began his farming career. He was an active member of the St. Camillus Catholic Church. He was involved in many community activities. He was an avid card player and enjoyed nothing more than a local auction where he could purchase all sorts of merchandise (junk!).

Survivors include wife Wilma of the home; daughter Lorene Combs and husband K.C. of Breckenridge, CO; two sons, Dean Fuxa and wife Mary of Marshall and Duane Fuxa of Marshall; brother Benny Fuxa; sister Evelyn Traynor; three grandchildren, Jodi McKinney, Kim Fuxa, and Stepheni Gilmore and by four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

A Vigil will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at the Abernathy Aaron Chapel in Crescent. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hennessey. Burial will follow at the South Marshall Lions Cemetery in Marshall. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.abernathyaaron.com. In lieu of flowers the family wish that memorials be made to a charity or church of your choice.
