Donna M. Crossfield
(April 23, 1935 - August 31, 2009)

Donna M. Crossfield, age 74, died Ausust 31, 2009 in Marshall, Oklahoma. Donna was born April 23, 1935 to Glen O. and Dephana F. (Beeby) Dishman. She graduated from Marshall High School and was married to J.I. Crossfield in 1953.

Donna was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall. She worked in the Children’s Department and played the piano for the Church Services. She was active in the United Youth Group. She had a beautiful voice and sang for numerous weddings and assemblies. Donna was a leader of the Bluebirds and Campfire Girls, in Perry. During her illness, most of the girls sent their love and well wishes. Many of the girls told her of the impact she had made on their lives when they were younger. Donna and J.I. moved back to the family farm near Marshall in November 1997. Donna was preceded in death by J.I. in December 1997.

Survivors include, one sister, Glenna Streetman of Broken Arrow, OK; three children one son and two daughters, David Crossfield of Marshall, Debra Phelan of Crescent and Kim O’Donnell of Waukomis; twelve grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren, and many special Beeby cousins and close friends.

Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 6, 2009 graveside at the South Marshall Lions Cemetery. Memorial can be sent to Marshall Lions Cemeteries, P.O. Box 4 Marshall, OK 73056. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
