Funeral services for Kenneth D. "Kenny" Price, 62, of Edmond will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2003 at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly in Edmond. Burial will follow in Seward Cemetery under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
Price was born June 26, 1940. He went to be with our Lord on June 3, 2003.
Kenny loved his family dearly and was most proud of his sons. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, or "wettin' a hook,' as he called it, and watching old Western movies. He retired from the City of the Village after more than 30 years and at the time of his death worked part-time for O'Reilly's. He was an avid fan of the University of Oklahoma, and a loving husband, father and pa-pa. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Survivors include his wife, Bee, of the home, five sons and their wives, Rod and Laurie, Anthony and Helen, Ronnie and Denise, Warren and Tanya and Kenneth (Bo) and Jill; one stepdaughter, Donna and husband Todd Herndon; two stepsons, Corky Bowker and Anthony and wife Elizabeth Bowker; six grandchildren, Heather, Whitney, Tyler, Shalena, Courtney and Megan; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and many more family and friends.
Memorial contibutions can be made to the Brianna Nelson surgery fund, c/o Heritage Baptist Church, 1921 E. 15th, Edmond, OK 73013.
