Nannie Zelpha McNeil

ENID - Nannie Zelpha McNeil, 110, passed away in Enid, Okla., on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011.

She was born Aug. 25, 1900, to William T. and Vinnie (Wilhoit) Park in Turney, Mo.

She married Morris Allen McNeil June 20, 1920. Together they reared six children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris in 1969; and daughter Bonnie Lasater in 2005.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Maurice Allen and wife Helen of Guthrie, Bessie Burton of Guthrie, Vinnie Bea and husband Clarence Herrin of Enid, Marlin and wife Lavonna of Stillwater and Virgil and wife Rae Dean of Portland, Mich. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 96 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and a church family and many friends.

Service is 10 a.m. today, Jan. 19, 2011, at Guthrie Christian Church with her sons Marlin and Virgil McNeil Brother Don Riepe officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall, Okla. Service is under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, Guthrie.
