Little Arthur Keifer the two-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Keifer, died Monday night, December 23, 1901, from membraneous croup. The family was almost ready to start for their new home in Caddo county near Hydro when the little one was taken with a serious cold which developed into croup. The remains of little Arthur were placed in the Roselawn cemetery Tuesday afternoon. The scores of friends of Mr. and Mrs. Keifer mourn with them the untimely loss of their little son. Theirs is a sad Christmas and may the Great Ruler comfort and protect them.
