Funeral services for Alice A. Beck, 96, are pending at Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie. She died March 30, 2000 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center.

Funeral services for Alice Augusta Beck, 96, of Guthrie were held at Smith Memorial Chapel Monday, April 3, 2000, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Ed Cook of Cashion United Methodist Church of Cashion officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall, directed by Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie.
Alice was born on Aug. 30, 1903, in Mulhall to W. Lloyd and Metta Scott.
She died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.
She is survived by one sister, Lela Scott Maier, Guthrie; 18 first cousins, prominent nieces and nephews, including Dr. Loy Markland and John, Oklahoma City; Arthur and Betty Bridal, Cashion; John and Mary Gannon, Boston, Ma.; Donna Markland, Davis, Ca.; Anita and Ron Kemp, Fullerton, CA.; Lori and Thierry Lharmitte, Paris, France; Lisa and Martin Williamson, Huntersville, New Zealand; Melba Ruth Scott Thompson, Houston, Texas and many, many friends. They all loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Nicholas Beck, in January 1936, a half brother, three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, April 2, 2000, from 1 to 8 p.m.
