Funeral services for Frnklin Dean Betchan, 64, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2003 at the Church of Christ in Guthrie with Brother Gene Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Mulhall under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Betchan died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Franklin Dean Betchan, 64, of Guthrie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2003 at the Church of Christ in Guthrie with Brother Gene Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Mulhall under the direciton of Smith Funeral Home.
Franklin was born July 30, 1938 in Mulhall to Charles and Ruth Betchan. He died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Betchan Bross and and husband Tommy, Jr. of Guthrie and Cindy Betchan Dodge and husband Phil of Hungary; two brothers, Bill Betchan and wife Linda of Hugo and Bob Betchan and wife Gerry of Mulhall; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky, in 2002, and one granddaughter, Torrie.
Visitation for family and friends will take place Thursday until 8 p.m.
