TWYLA LAVERE HALL

The funeral for Twyla LaVere Hall, 94, of Crescent , will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Crescent Church of Christ. David Thomason will officiate. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery , Lovell. Arrangements are by Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home, Crescent .

She was born April 15, 1915, in Lovell to Perry L. and Ida Sade Jones and died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, in Crescent .

She was raised in the Lovell area and lived there most of her life.

She married Reed Hall Aug. 23, 1938, in Guthrie. He preceded her in death.

She worked at Crescent Care Center for more than 20 years. She was a member of Crescent Church of Christ, Lovell Progressive Club and Crescent Quilting Club.

Surviving are one daughter, Helen McGowen of Crescent ; two sons, Gary Hall of Crescent and Wayne Hall of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Thelma Travis of Del City, Doris Martin of Midwest City and Ruth Seefeldt of Crescent ; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Reed, she was preceded in death by one son, one sister and four brothers.
