ALLENE M. HAUGLEY DIVELEY

The graveside service for Allene M. Haugley Diveley, 97, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Garber, will be held in Oak View Cemetery , near Crescent , at a late date. Cremation arrangements are by Tim Combs, Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, Zanesville. No calling hours will be observed.

She was born July 5, 1911, in Fort Collins, Colo., to William G. and Edith L. McCandless Haughey and died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at Summerville Inn at North Hillis.

She moved from Hennessey in 1923 to Garber, where she lived most of her life. She attended school at both Hennessey and Garber, graduating from Garber High School. She attended Oklahoma State University.

She worked 10 years at Vance Air Force Base in a clerical capacity and also worked at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center for 10 years, retiring in 1974. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church, Garber, for more than 70 years and a 60-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She most recently had been a resident of Summerville Inn, North Hillis.

Surviving are two sons, John H. Diveley of Zanesville and Frank E. Diveley of Loganville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.
