Clifford Dean Wallace
(July 24, 1943 - July 7, 2013)


Clifford Dean Wallace, age 69, of Crescent, Oklahoma was born July 24, 1943 in Crescent. He left this world to be with his beloved wife in Heaven on July 7, 2013, after a long illness.

Clifford was born to Edgar and Vera Wallace. He attended Crescent High School. He joined the Marines in 1966, where he bravely served in the Vietnam War. On March 30, 1968, he married Linda (Dunagan) Wallace of Guthrie, OK. Clifford and Linda made their home in Crescent. He worked in the oil field for several years and worked at the Lazy E arena in Guthrie until he retired. He was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1972. In his spare time Clifford loved going fishing, being an “Old Fart” of a scout leader to the boy scouts, and tending to his garden.

Clifford was a devoted father of 3 children, Melody Smith of Bethany, Jeffrey Wallace and wife Jennifer of Crescent, and Johnny Wallace and wife Karessa of Wellston. He was also a very loving PaPa to 4 grandchildren, Asia, Little Jeff, Kacidie, and Kaylie. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, and one brother Corky Wallace. Clifford leaves behind four brothers and five sisters and tons of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 graveside at Oakland-Knowles Cemetery with Rev. Cecelia Brooks officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
