Everette Eugene Dunlap
(July 11, 1946 - March 25, 2014)
Everette Eugene Dunlap was born July 11, 1946 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Namon and Irene (Hatch) Dunlap. He passed away March 25, 2014 at his home in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.
Everette served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1966 with tours in Germany and Vietnam. He lived in Ceres California for many years and worked as a truck driver and played country music in California, Oklahoma, and Germany. After moving to Oklahoma he worked for the City of Kingfisher and built the train that runs in the Kingfisher Park. He loved his music, running Country and Gospel Music Shows in Oklahoma, California, and Germany. He also played music with George Mosher all over Kingfisher.
Survivors include his wife Audine of the home; one son, Jonathan Dunlap of Guthrie; two daughters, Doren Woods and Sarah Shirley both of Ceres, CA; three sisters, Judy Hill, Dolly Russell, and Sandy Kouack; one brother, Ramon Dunlap.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Crosspointe Church in Crescent. Burial will follow in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
