Dale Donaldson
(December 6, 1933 - October 15, 2007)

Vernon Dale Donaldson was born December 6, 1933 to William S. "Bill" and Geneva Donaldson in Mulhull, Oklahoma. Dale was raised on the farm by his father and grandmother Mary Donaldson.

Dale had a happy childhood, driving a tractor (geared just for him), playing Cowboy and Indians with his only brother, Billy Dean Donaldson. Attended school at Rose Hill, a short distance from the Donaldson homestead.

After failing health he entered Crescent Care Center in May of 1965. In just a short while he became accustom to his new home, host of friends and loving care givers. Here in the Crescent Care Center, where he called home, he remained and never asking why for 42 years and 5 months. Dale departed this life at his home (Crescent Care Center) on October 15, 2007 with his family and loved ones near.

Dale leaves his brother, Billy Dean (he call Bull Dean) and his wife Dona ( he called Dotie); two nieces, Dena (who he called Betty) and Delan; one nephew, Damon all of Crescent; four great nephews and four great nieces and one every special friend, Tammy Wilmoth (who he called Mickey). Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 18, 2007, Graveside at Oakland - Knowles Cemetery with Rev. Paul Toepfer officiating. Services under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at abernathyaaron.com.
