Katherine Elizabeth Dickerson
(July 25, 1928 - May 8, 2007)

Katherine Elizabeth Dickerson died May 8, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 13 days. She was born July 25, 1928 in Inspiration, Arizona to Roy and Mabel (Jones) McGregor. On July 4, 1947 she married Harley J. Dickerson in Reno, Nevada, he preceded her in death on October 25, 1986.

Katherine worked at Tinker Air Force Base for over 30 years as a civilian employee until she retired. Her biggest enjoyment in life was watching her family grow, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Gail Landsdown of Oregon; Jeanne Clure and husband Glenn of Edmond, OK; Paula Jones and husband Garry of Mustang, OK; one son, Eddie Dickerson and wife Joyce of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Don McGregor of Claypool, AZ; one sister, Margaret McGregor of Claypool, AZ; two special friends, Jean Messer and Gloria Shawnee both of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harley and by two sisters, Mary and Dee.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Abernathy - Aaron Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryan Haynes officiating, burial will follow in the Oakland - Knowles Cemetery. Services under the direction of Abernathy - Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Viewing will be Friday from 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
