Max D. Cochran
(July 3, 1938 - November 3, 2009)

Max D. Cochran was born July 3, 1938 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Phillip Arnold and Anna Lou (Payne) Cochran. He passed away November 3, 2009 in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years. On April 3, 1961 Max married Jewell Marcelle "Mickey" Hale in Covington, Oklahoma, she preceded him in death July 1, 1998.

Max worked in the oilfield and the gas service station business for many years. He loved fishing and was an avid for of all sports, especially OU! He was also a huge Atlanta Braves fan, he also loved cheese and jello. Max loved his children and grandchildren and was definitely a family man. If he had it to give he would gladly give it to you, except for his snacks.

Survivors include, one daughter, Dianna Waldridge of Crescent; four sons, Mike Cochran of Alice, TX, Phillip Cochran of Oklahoma City, Gary Cochran of New Mexico, and Kevin Cochran of Yukon; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three sisters, Bonnie, Margaret, and Vetta.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 7, 2009 Graveside at Oakland Knowles Cemetery with Pastor Mark LeMarr officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home.
