ALVERETTA BROCK

CRESCENT - Alveretta Brock, 86, died Sunday in a Crescent nursing home.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church at Crescent with the Rev. J .C. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Knowles Cemetery under direction of Abernathy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brock was born Jan. 19, 1895, at Brownwood, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church at Crescent. She had spent most of her life in the Crescent area, and in September of 1912 married Archie S. Brock.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne, Crescent ,Cecil, Moore, and Archie D., Commerce, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Velma L. Shore, Crescent, Mrs. Lorene May Barbr, Haysville, Kan., Mrs. Delta Fern Givson, Guthrie, and Mrs. Ellen Marie Kilcrease, Richardson, Texas; one half-sister, Pennie Landsley, Guthrie; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Archie, Dec. 24,1969, four brothers, two sisters and one daughter.
