John J. Leniger

John J. Leniger, born 12/22/1849 in Ohio, had lived and farmed South of Navina since 1890, married 12/26/1881 in Reno County, Kansas, to Icia Sears Watson Leniger.

He died in Navina, OK on 6/6/1930. John was survived by five sons, Alvin Leniger and Charles Leniger, of Navina, Oklahoma; George Leniger and Elijah Leniger, of Portland, OR; and John Leniger, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Leniger Barr, Dodge City, Kansas; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lillie Watson Berry, of Taloga, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
