Terry Lee Allen was born May 28, 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Lee graduated from Guthrie High School in 1976. After serving in the U. S. Air Force, Lee lived in California for several years where he was involved in political activities, a lifelong interest. Lee returned to Okalhoma and graduated with a degree in political science and public relations in 1988. His love of the ocean drew him back to California where he remained until he was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. He retured to Guthrie where he could be near his family.
Lee is survived by his parents, Clarence E. Allen and Alice Allen of Guthrie, one sister, Nancy Tinder of Plano, Texas, a brother, John Allen of Bethany, his grandmother Arlene Grunden of Guthrie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Allen Jones, and brothers, Kerry and Kelly Allen, all of Texas.
