Cline Jasper Robinson was born March 16, 1917 in Moberly, Missouri, and passed from this earth on December 14,2017 at the age of 100 years & 8 months at Willow Creek nursing home in Guthrie, OK surrounded by family. He was the 4th Child of 6 children born to Charlie & Maude Robinson.

Cline served his country as tank commander in WWII in the 756th tank battalion from January 30, 1942 to June 30, 1945 where he earned 2 Purple Hearts, a silver star, and the French Croix de Guerre (Equivalent to the US congressional Medal of Honor). After returning home from the war, he married Lillian June Cowell on December 31, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas. They made their lifelong home in the Guthrie area where they raised 5 children...Charley, Jackie, Robert, Jimmie and Wanda.

To say Cline enjoyed the outdoors would be an understatement. He lived to hunt, fish and trap for furs and was an expert at all. He was also an avid gardener as well as a very successful little league and American legion baseball coach, winning a state championship. Cline retired as a rural mail carrier out of Seward & Guthrie after 26 years. (Nov 5, 1951-Dec 16,1977). However, over a decade later he returned to the workforce as a pumper for his sons Charley & Bob, not retiring from that job until the age of 88.

Cline was preceded in death by his wife Lillian June, both his parents (Charlie & Maude), his 3 brothers (Ernest, Clarence & Carl), and his 2 sisters (Margaret Jennings & Ruth Smith) as well as his granddaughter Samantha Robinson and his fishing buddy and son-in-law Terry Dennis. He is survived by his son, Charley Carl Robinson of Cashion and Anita, son Jackie Robinson of Guthrie, son Robert Robinson of Guthrie and wife Louise, son Jimmie Robinson of Cashion and wife Evelyn, and daughter Wanda Panick of Edmond and husband Billy plus 17 grandkids, 32 great-grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
