A memorial service for Kenneth Don Henning, 63, of Crescent, will be 10:30 a.m Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at First Christian Church, Crescent. Keith Gordon, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home, Crescent.

He was born Sept. 13, 1945, in Crescent to Norman and Helen Irene Payne Henning and died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in Guthrie.

He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1963. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva, then Francis Tuttle, where he received his LPN license. He worked at Logan Medical Center, Guthrie, then Crescent Care Center, Crescent until 1991. He then worked at MeMaw's Cafe as a cook.

Surviving are two sons, Brad Henning of Tacoma, Wash; and Bryan Henning of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one brother, Troy Henning of Crescent; three sisters, Sharon Pollard of Hennessey, Connie Henning and Alieda "Leta" Hurst, both of Crescent; and four grandchildren.
