Bobby Lee Davison
(February 16, 1927 - August 20, 2011)

Bobby Davison was born February 16, 1927 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Aaron David and Ruby Irene (Green) Davison. He passed away August 20, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 6 months, and 4 days.

Bobby graduated from Marshall High School. After graduation Bob joined the United States Army and served in WWII. He was Honorably Discharged and he then married Marie Rogers on July 30, 1948. Bob and Marie made their home in the Crescent area, where he was a longtime farmer. Bob was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the American Legion, VFW, and was an active member in the Crescent First Baptist Church. Bob moved to Owasso, OK, a suburb of Tulsa, and attended Central Baptist Church in Owasso.

Survivors include his wife Marie of the home; two sons, Dennis L. Davison and wife Cookie and Donnie L. Davison and wife Stephanie; four grandchildren, Trisha Schweitzer and husband David, Jennifer Schroeder and husband Jason, Jeffrey Davison and wife Lindy, and Christopher Davison; seven great grandchildren, Mariah Davison, Cameron Davison, Isabella Schweitzer, Jace Schweitzer, Addison Schroeder, Austin Schroeder, and Nolan Davison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Rev. Steve Black, Rev. Scott Carlson, and Christopher Davison officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.abernathyaaron.com. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Bobby Davison’s memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association www.mda.org.
