Brenda K. Chappell
(December 26, 1947 - September 19, 2008)

Brenda K. Chappell was born December 26, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Harvey and Golda H. (Liggett) Chappell. She passed away on September 19, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 24 days.

Brenda was raised in Crescent and lived there for most of her life. She worked as an office manager for many medical offices, most recently work for Mercy Northwest for 15 years. Brenda was a very hardworking person, a loving and wonderful family member and the truest of friends. She gave unselfishly to anyone she cared about in life. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Survivors include, one brother, James L. Chappell and wife Raydene, of Oklahoma City; one step daughter, Tami Kasik and husband Frank and their children, Kimberlin and Frank; aunt, Florene Oltmans; cousins, Connie Max Oltmans, Susan and Mike Reeves, Bennie Hughes and Gloria Gianinni. She had many friends, to many to list by name that we want to thank for their help and care in Brenda’s last days, especially Pam LaChance and Virginia Aldridge. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Crescent with Pastor Keith Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at the Crescent Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at abernathyaaron.com.
