Funeral services for Bonnie E. Andrews, 66, of Guthrie will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at First Christian Church in Guthrie with Dennis Clark presiding. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery in Meridian under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Andrews was born October 30, 1934 in Guthrie and was raised by Bill Wells and Dennis and Evalena Redman. She died Saturday, March 17, 2001 at Midwest City Regional Medical Center in Midwest City.
Bonnie had lived in Guthrie all of her life. She served as Logan County Clerk for 21 years and worked at the Oklahoma State Auditors office for two years, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Guthrie.
She married Jack Andrews on March 7, 1952 in Guthrie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jack, of the home in Guthrie; one daughter, Brenda Rueb and husband, Guy W., of Edmond; one brother, Max Redman and wife, Gayle, of Guthrie; two grandsons, Mason Andrews of Edmond and Chris Thompson and wife, Melanie, of Guthrie; and one great-granddaughter, Hailey Thompson of Guthrie.
Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home until noon on Wednesday. The casket will not be open after services.
