Submitted by: Debby Cook

PLEASANT VIEW.
Mr. Deselms, aged 62 years, died at his home, three and one-half miles west and two and one-half miles north of Mulhall, Friday morning December 5, 1902, after an illness of nearly two years. He served his country three years during the civil war and was wounded in the battle of Lookout mountain. He leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter to mourn his death. The funeral was preached at the Pleasant View school house Sunday morning by Rev. Everett of Orlando, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Bocox cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.
