December 5, 1941 ~ April 24, 2021

Lillie Irene Jones passed away at the age of 79 on April 14, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Lillie was born in Crane, Texas on December 5, 1941 to Angus Lloyd Martindale and Mammie Pearl (Young) Martindale. She grew up in the north Texas area and then moved to the Lincoln County area in the late ‘80’s. Growing up Lillie had the nickname “Peanut” but once she moved to Oklahoma she was known around town as “Nanny”. She loved to take care of people, especially through cooking. She worked at Meeker Nursing Home as the cook there for many years. She also owned her own janitorial service for a while. Lillie also enjoyed taking care of her plants and watching them grow. But when it came to dominos, you better watch out because she didn’t hold back. Lillie was a huge Jimmy Swaggart fan. She also attended Living Waters Tabernacle in Meeker for many years.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Jones; her daughter Lillie Irene; her first husband Robert O. Jones; her parents Angus and Mammie Martindale; her sister Doris McElmurry and her brother Bud Martindale.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Brown and husband William; her son Tommy Jones and wife Debbie; her grandchildren Larry Williams and wife Becky, Aimey Alexander, Elizabeth Bryant and husband Christopher, Crystal Crews and husband Dustin; Tommy Jones II, Jessica Jones, and Lisa Rackley; great grandchildren Alicia, Dustin, Haley, Katelyn, Blake, Trevor, Erika, Tyler, Journey, Bailey, Kierra, Jordan, Alyssa, Christopher, Tristan, Austin, Hunter, Ty, and Rylan; and five great great grandchildren; and brother James Martindale and wife Linda; as well as many more extended family and friends.
