CHRISTINE THOMPSON

Christine Thompson was born on March 28, 1939, in Sulphur, and departed this life on Monday, February 27, 2017, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 77.

Christine, the daughter of Wesley and Ona (Cavener) Kirby, was a resident of Prague. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, shopping and spending time with her grandkids.

Christine’s parents; two sisters, Bernice Wood and Patsy Pittman; four brothers, Wesley Kirby Jr., Eugene Kirby, Bobby Kirby and Doug Kirby preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Lori Thompson of Prague; brother, Norris Kirby of Shawnee; grandchildren, Brooks, Alexis and Adysen Thompson of Prague and many other family and friends.

The Thompson family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Kevin Wehrli officiating. Interment will follow at Wellston Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
