LADORIS MAXINE WRIGHT

December 2, 1927 - October 22, 2017

LaDoris Maxine Wright was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on December 2, 1927 and departed this life in Stroud on October 22, 2017 at the age of 89 years.

LaDoris was the daughter of Orland Olan and Alma Juanita (McCracken) Phillips. She was a resident of the Stroud area most of life. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud and owned and operated LaDoris Beauty Shop. LaDoris loved to cook, sew, dance and stay up with grandchildren sports. LaDoris married Billy Wright in Cushing on June 7, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2012. She was also preceded by her parents, one son, Tony Randall Wright, one brother, and one sister, son in law, John Lau, and daughter in law, Gail Wright. Survivors include two sons, Carson Wright and wife Paige of Cushing, Phil Wright and wife, Leona of Chandler, one daughter, Darlene Lau of Stroud, one sister, Donna Lou Robinson of Drumright, seven grandchildren, Daniel Wright, Billy Wright, Crystal Paine, Hank Lau, Mike Murphy, Steven Murphy, Gaylen Murphy, ,and eight great grandchildren, Isaiah Wright, Ian Paine, Alyssa Wright, Ashton Paine, Gentry Wright, Taylor Lau Christopher Wright and Boston Lau, other friend and relatives.

Funeral service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Ragle Pastor James Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
