Gary Lynn Sparks

Gary Lynn Sparks was born on September 23, 1962, in Bristow, OK and departed this life on October 9, 2022, in Stroud, Ok at the age of 60.

Gary was the son of Joyce (McDaniel) and Carl R. Sparks. He had been a resident of Stroud for 30 years. He attended Stroud High School graduating in 1981. He attended the Maranatha Christian Center, where he was baptized on December 24, 2005. He joined the Stroud Volunteer Fire Department in 2003 and served for seven years. He has worked several different jobs throughout the past years.

Gary is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father Carl R. Sparks who passed in 2012.

Gary is survived by his mother Joyce Sparks of Bristow, one sister Tori Hannah and husband Les of Tahlequah, one niece Lexi Hannah, along with other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Gary will be held at Stroud Cemetery on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 2:00 pm with Al Hutchings officiating and burial to follow.
