JUANITA MARIE SMITH

November 23, 1938 - November 18, 2017

Juanita Marie Smith was born on November 23, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her home in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 78.

Juanita, the daughter of Gilbert Anthony and Irene Waggoner a resident of Stroud most of her life. Juanita was a affiliated of the Higher Praise Church in Stroud and a waitress and secretary for her husband Carl. Juanita was a jack of all trades she could do anything if you needed it done she would see that it got done. Juanita married Carl Wayne Smith in Chandler on December 16, 1977. He preceded her in death May 9, 2005. Juanita was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Cindy, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Survivors include: 1 son, Bryan Dervin & wife Brenda of Stroud, 1 daughter Deana Mitchell & husband Ed of Stroud, one sister, Vicki Jackson & husband Dewayne of Stroud, 11 grandchildren Derek & Lindsey Dervin, Brianna Pittman, Tonya & Miquel Marlowe, Jason & Michele Williams, Jamie Washington, Kristopher Williams, Rachel & Mark Dennis, Tabatha & Gil Deleon, Chanelle Davis, Joshua & Roxie Stephens, and Jacob Stephens, Numerous great grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 A. M., at the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud with Pastor Jeromy Jackson officiating. Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
