Patricia Ann Anderson Phillips

Pat Phillips age 88 of Noble, OK passed away on October 18, 2023. Patricia Ann Anderson was born on January 10, 1935 in Avery, OK to Lewis Theis and Geraldine Anderson. She grew up in the Stroud area, and attended the Baker school just north of home. She later went to high school in Kendrick. From a young age she enjoyed cooking and made a living doing so. Over the years she cooked at numerous places including day cares, Purcell Public Schools, and the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority House. She was known for her dumplings, no-bake cookies, and chocolate chip muffins. She always had a meal made with love ready before school or after a long day at work. Pat's door was always open and she never turned family and friends away. She was proud to be the family hostess and cherished spending time with her loved ones. She liked to fish, craft, and watch the bird feeder while chasing squirrels away. Pat was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Phillips. Her mother Geraldine Gilman, and siblings Noel Anderson, Mary Carpenter, Robert Gilman, and Carl Theis. Her granddaughter Erin Phillips, and her great grandson Kylier Beller Phillips.

Pat is survived by her children Kevin Phillips and wife Kelly of Noble, OK, Larry Phillips and wife Eva of Walla Walla, WA, and Cathy Wichers and husband Jeff of Colorado Springs, CO. Her siblings Clyde Gilman and wife Ann of Purcell, OK, Lewis (Sonny) Theis of Pueblo, CO, Sally Hastings of Woodland, CA, and Carolyn Koen of Pueblo, CO. She also leaves behind 10 1/2 grandchildren, 12 1/2 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday October 24, 2023 at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, OK.
