Betty Ann Bunyard

Betty Ann Bunyard was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on April 5, 1941 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 19, 2018 at the age of 77 years.

Betty was the daughter of Oscar J. "Jinks" and Emmie Olympia (Bishop) Hinds. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud. Betty was a housewife and she loved to cook, feed the cows, drive the tractor and mow the grass. Betty married Jerry Bunyard in Stroud on May 25, 1958. They celebrated 60 years of marriage this past spring. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Cloy Taylor one great grandchild, Cameron Battles, and one brother in law, Don Bunyard.

Survivors include husband Jerry of the home, one son, Randy Bunyard & wife Shelly, two daughters Teresa Sparks and Debbie Hamilton & husband Danny, one brother Tim Hinds & wife Sharon and one sister Helen Amos & husband Bob all of Stroud, sister in laws, Louise Bunyard of Davenport and Vicki Jones & husband Don of Sapulpa, nine grandchildren Michael Battles Jr. & wife Amanda of Harrah, Bobbie Weide and Dawn Frank & husband John all of Glencoe, Brock Battles & wife Keelie of Sand Springs, Heather Wilkerson & husband Scotty of Broken Arrow, Miranda Murfin & husband John, Ashley Dervin & husband Ryan and Austin Hamilton all of Stroud, Stephanie Stafford & husband Jack of Depew, twenty one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, many nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud on Tuesday, October 23. 2018 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor James Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud.
