AUSTIN RAY ALMANZA

January 2, 2007 - October 21, 2017

Austin Ray Almanza of Wellston, Oklahoma passed away on October 21, 2017, in Wellston, at the age of 10 years.

Austin Ray Almanza was born on January 2, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Mathias "Tony" Almanza and Elizabeth Conaway. Austin grew up in Oklahoma City. He attended White Rock Public Schools. Austin enjoyed playing basketball, and watching the Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys play, He loved playing video games. Austin was very loving and had the biggest smile.

His maternal grandmother, GiGi, preceded Austin in death.

Survivors include his father, Tony Almanza of Oklahoma City; mother and stepfather, Elizabeth Conaway and Joseph Wilcox of Wellston; maternal grandparents, Ray and Donna Jarnagin of Wellston; paternal grandmother, Paulette Spencer of Valleybrook, Oklahoma; three sisters, Alisa Almanza of Wellston, Leah and Juliann Almanza of Bethany, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ayden Almanza of Wellston, and Mathias "Tony" Almanza II of Bethany; two uncles, Michael Lanquis of Stillwater, and Cody Davis of Oklahoma City; one aunt Shelby West and husband Robert of Oklahoma City; aunt and uncle Roger Conaway and Donna Corbin; three cousins, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Messiah, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at the Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, times will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, October 26th, then 8:00AM to 8:00PM on Friday, October 27th, with Austin's family receiving friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, 28, 2017, at Mammoth Baptist Church, in Meeker, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
