HELEN ELIZABETH QUARY

Helen Elizabeth Quary was born on March 3, 1933, in London, England, and departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2016, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 83.

Helen, the daughter of William Henry and Sarah Elizabeth (Lawrence) Robertson, was a resident of Prague. Fresh out of nursing school she married Harold Matney. They were married for 20 years and had four children together. Helen later married Edward Sidney Quary on February 8, 1980 and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2009.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law Delbert Matney of Slaughterville, and David and Denise Matney of Moore; daughters and son-in-law Julie and Sanford Daniel of Shawnee, and Shelly Matney of Prague; grandchildren Drake, Elizabeth, Michelle, Megan, Josh, Tracy, Lindsey, Tyler and their significant others; 11 great–grandchildren; brother Lawrence Robertson of Gosport England and many other family and friends.

The Quary family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Way Church in Prague with Rev. Starland Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
