Sheila Elaine Whitfield, age 75, passed away on November 3, 2018. She was born to Hubert Carl Mitchell and Bertha Marie Tibbett on February 4, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and a faithful lifelong member of The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. She will be remembered most for gathering her family at home and cooking especially for them. Throughout her life she supported her husband in owning Whitfield Industries and later tirelessly tended to and cared for her men in farming, seed time and harvest. Her children reminisce growing up spending countless and fun filled weekends at the lake and family trips to go skiing.

She is survived by Dana Whitfield of Okarche, OK.; Rhonda and her husband Ronnie Biggs of Crescent, OK.; Danny Whitfield and his wife Nora of Hot Springs, AR.; Shelley and her husband Leon Biehler of Guthrie, OK.; Aaron Whitfield and his wife Misty of Guthrie, OK.; and her sister Gail and her husband Ray Corey of Oklahoma City, OK.; Twelve grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren with two more on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband John E. Whitfield Jr. and her parents Hubert and Bertha Mitchell.

Viewing will be Monday, November 5 from 12pm to 9pm at Mercer-Adams. Graveside Services will be held 11:30am Tuesday, November 6 at Parkland Cemetery in Agra, OK.
