ARTHUR ROBERT "BOB" FREEMAN

September 10, 1937 - November 26, 2017

Arthur Robert 'Bob" Freeman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resident was born September 10, 1937, in Oklahoma City, and departed this life November 26, 2017, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years.

Arthur was the son of Melvin and Helen (Stein) Freeman. He served in the United States Air Force, having obtained the rank of Captain. Arthur worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry for many years. Known as "Bob" to many, he enjoyed fly fishing in Colorado, rock climbing, golf, and talking.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include, three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Donna Melchert of Edmond, Oklahoma, David and Deanna Melchert of Edmond, Oklahoma, Russell and Stephanie Melchert of Lee's Summit, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Freeman of Virginia, and Melvin Freeman of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Preston, Kaitlyn, Lauryn, Brandon and wife Katie, Taylor and husband Sam, Matthew, Philip, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Riggs and Evie; other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Parkland Cemetery, in Parkland, Oklahoma, with Dick Woolbright officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
