Willie Givens

Willie "Joe" Givens of Wellston died February 15, 2010. He was born November 29, 1931 in Washington, Oklahoma the son of Earl and Viola Givens.

He married Anna Givens on April 21, 1952 in Colby, Kansas.

In addition to farming, Joe worked for the Wilson Meat Packing Co. from 1952 until his retirement in 1983.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anna; five children; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be February 19, 2010 at Lehman Funeral Home, Wellston Oklahoma with a Rosary service to be held at 6:00 p.m. Mass service will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m, February 20, 2010 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler, Oklahoma.

Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
