BETTY LOU THOMAS

August 1, 1929 - August 10, 2018

Betty Lou (Holcomb) Thomas, Lahoma, Oklahoma, resident was born on August 1, 1929, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and departed this life on August 10, 2018, in Lahoma, at the age of 89 years.

Betty was the daughter of Clarence Edward Holcomb and Viola Grace (Tucker) Holcomb. She married Lowell Phillip Thomas on October 1, 1949, in Clay City, Illinois. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and loved going to the casino. Betty will be greatly missed.

Her parents; husband; one great-grandson, Lukas; five brothers, Art, Ed, Bobby, Billy, and Fred; three sisters, Inez, Bonnie, and Cherry preceded Betty in death.

Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Lowell Jr. and Judy Thomas of Stillwater, Oklahoma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Done Ed Martindale of Wanette, Oklahoma, Jonnie and Randy Bacher of Enid, Oklahoma, Phyllis and Keith Duncan of Chandler, Oklahoma; one step-son, Robert Thomas of Arizona; and two sisters-in-law, Jane Holcomb and Ruth Holcomb; eight grandchildren, Kye, Kami, Kristian, Tucker, Pari, Sara, Tyler, and Tanner; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, Paityn, Malcolm, Georgia, Elliott, Ian, Eliza, Gabe, and Oliver; other relatives and many friends.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Christian Church, 614 Manvel Ave, Chandler, Oklahoma, 74834.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, August 13, 2018, at the First Christian Church in Chandler, with Rev. Christine Pomaville officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
