Nolan Winferd Osborne

Nolan Winferd Osborne was born December 27, 1935, in Kendrick, Oklahoma to Robert Ray and Viola (Atkins) Osborne. He passed away June 3, 2021, in Chandler at the age of 85.

Nolan grew up in Lincoln County and worked in the Oil Field as a tool pusher and driller. Nolan proudly served his country in the United States Army with a tour in the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening, working on small engines and other mechanic jobs.

Nolan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ray and Viola Osborne; sisters, Linda Baker, Betty Osborne, Norma Dean Selcer; brothers, Donald Osborne, Garland Osborne; and his son, Bennie Osborne. Survivors include his son, James Osborne and his wife Janet of Chandler; granddaughters, Jamie Hall of Missouri; Jena Elliott and her husband Shane of Harrah; great-grandchildren, Benny Hall, Joey Elliott, Emma Elliott; along with other family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
