Larry Dean Miller

Larry Dean Miller, long time Chandler resident was born Sept 15, 1947 in Chandler, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

Larry was the son of George Albert and Frances Helen (Baker) Miller. He was a graduate of the 1966 Class of Chandler High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam War time and was awarded two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and a Distinguished Service Cross Medal. Larry was married to Glenda Helm Miller on December 22, 1967 in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was a member of Chandler American Legion, Chandler VFW and past President of the Chandler All-Sports Club. Though he was a fan of all Chandler sports he loved football the most.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Albert Miller.

Larry is survived by his wife, Glenda Miller, of the home; two sons, Patrick “Pat” Miller and wife Amy Jo of Chandler, Brett Miller and wife Amy Renee of Chandler; daughter Kathy Miller of Plano Texas; six grandchildren, Marcy (Miller) Bromley and husband Zach, Austin Miller, Nathan Miller, Madalyn Miller, Gaven Miller, and Kendall Miller; brother Dr. Robert Miller and wife Anne of Lemarque, Texas; two nieces, Tori and Kelly, nephew Ray and his Helm nieces, nephews, and other family members. His special Army friends the “Bandido Brothers”: Douglas Birge, Lanny Jones, Forrest Spivey, Rocky Liskey, Harry Wagoner and Ed Chaffin. Larry will be greatly missed by all loved him.

A private family graveside service will be held.
